I've been contacted by someone who wants to join as user name "Capt Vimes" but who is still waiting to receive an email from the site.

Is this a problem owing to the failure in the email system?

Is it that he is using a user name previously taken?

Is there another problem I can tell him about?

He has contacted me through my company website so I have his email address and can pass any messages required to him.

I also sent a suggestion to Monkey Hanger about a new scenario but haven't had a reply - did you get it or is that the email system bug again?
