I think you need to line up your reserves anyway. We have a few less frequent players on the list of players. Unless you have their private email to notify them the tournament is starting, they may not notice at all. (Remember the YouPlayIt mail does not work anymore.) I think leagues do not expire until about 10 days since creation but I am not too sure.
