As a distant but keen Bengals fan I had an idea for a tournement based on the NFL season. Players each represent a team (hopefully their favorite  ) and games follow the weekly NFl schedule (I know it doesn't kick off till Sept but thought I'd float the idea early). Much as I'd love to see something like this take place I know I'm not really organised enough to run it successfully and wondered if anyone else thinks it's a good enough idea to take up the challenge (16 games over 17 weeks plus playoffs). As the schedules are already published the games could start earlier than the actual season or run in conjunction leading up to the Superbowl (and maybe a multiplayer game involing the best players as a nod to the Probowl). Let me know what you think and more importantly if you would be prepared to run it.
