If you find the little green and red men images, or the country icons on your main Blue max page as annoying an unnecessary as I do (and a major time sink on download times as even though they are small each one has overhead for initiating and completing the download process) then how can you block them, while still seeing the necessary Blue max images?

Not sure about IE, but in FireFox I downloaded AdBlock Plus. Right click the unecessary image. Select Adblock image ... The selected image will be in the custom line, select that radio button. Click Add Filter. Voila!
