Hard to read. I'm remembering a saying: "If its not broke, don't fix it." Nick did not break it by fixing it. This is more like a "I don't like it!" bug. I think he'll work out the defects and we will have to get used to it. Don't tell me we are going to quit YouPlayIt just because of some cosmetic change.
Think you misunderstood me. The saying, "If it's not broke, don't fix it." implies it wasn't broken in the first place. Doesn't really work 100% here maybe, so the saying has to be taken for overall meaning.
Anyway, did they just add the WAIT, PLAY, and TAIL boxes back in? Or is it just now I'm noticing them? Probably the latter as old age is starting to take is evil toll on me. But the mind is still sharp as a tack... ouch!
But there is another saying that comes to mind too. "Keep it simple and straight-forward" Especially for those who are to tired to think
