The biggest advantage of a pure web application is no download.  That means the webmasters on this site do not need to worry about end-user OS, software configurations, prerequisite, dependencies, user is not an administrator, etc. This is not a pay site, the webmasters are doing it for fun. Creating a download version is a lot of work in my opinion as a software developer who handles deployment as well.
Just do what imdog is suggesting. There are plenty of fast players online most of the time. |
