Transfer occurs before the shot, and, before it struck. So, I believe it is correct as is.

But, there is a typo as the message window shows "trasferred" without the n.


Melee resolution comes after normal combat according to the rule book (page 3, Sequence of Play). The Boarding Preparation Phase comes before combat, but the actual transfers and melee come after, so TBPs should not happen if the ship strikes.
