I would like the option to make or play in a Blue Max game with a 1-day and a 2-day move timeout. I would like the game engine to be updated so that instead of automoving a slow player, that player's aircraft would be: a. Eliminated immediately or b. Frozen, but an eligible target, for the rest of the game.
The player statistics could then be updated with a field showing how many move forfeits the player has had.
I know I could only play passworded games against players that are responsible pilots, but that's not really the reason this site exists. I like testing my skills in large games where I learn from the aces.
Unfortunately, the number/frequency of immature and/or irresponsible players seems to be increasing. I'm so fed up, I'm taking a break from the site as soon as my last three games, all with slow-moving/non-moving players, are over. ..beerguy
Many are frustrated with automovers and I am not sure that there is a best answer for every situation. One thought would be to have different automover options that you can choose from when creating a game, much like we have in selecting the time of a game.
This might help to speed things up in a casual game yet still have the option to use the traditioal automover rules when playing leagues so as not to overly penalize a team with an automover. |
