the site is suffering heavy problems in this week due to a memory leak issue on the server.
We had tryied many different solution, but nothing seems to solve to problem. The last chance we had is to completely reset the server, restart it from scratch and then hope that it simply was a setup problem.
In doing so we will go back to Windows Server 2003, that is more stable and is a product we know much better.
This reset of the server will happens asap. Be prepared for a total black out day, in which even the "site closed" page will not be visible.
Thanks for your patience, we hope to have the site healty again quite soon.
Nick.
Personally I suggest roll back. Also the homepage without any details indexing will bring you to default IIS screen. Only if I paste
Many user will think our site is closed. Pls review.
Have MS 2008 fun

If you can Nick, put a forum post on this main forum and the one in beta site warning about this impending day long shut down. Just put a title like "YouPlay. It will be down on July xx for maintenance."
Does the host/provider has a clean image of Windows Server 2003 that they can restore to? Restoring an image should not take that long. Even installing the oS from scratch on a modern fast server should not take more than half a day if I remember correctly. Then you can put some default page with some message as soon as you can configure the IIS after reboot. However people are seeing so much of the error pages that is may be no surprise to them.
P.S. I am not grand expert in site hosting but I have configured a few ASP.NET 2.0 database apps on Win Svr 2003.
