Indeed, you are right! That's why Imdog took the list from the league statistics, where each player flies each plane of a given scenario, it being balanced or not

That's not necessarily true though, as all the possible permutations of model and pilot, versus every other permutation of model & pilot, are *NOT* part of any league scenario. Who you meet, or team with, and what plane they are flying in that game, varies. Thus, not balanced.

Another variable with leagues is that it favors a style of player who tries for kills vs a point victory. Thus, someone like ksnake, who is the best at winning games on points is somewhat discriminated against by the league scoring rules.

WoW that's why I called ksnake prof, now pokery guy seems studying PhD! To be frank, I am preparing to take courses in Games studies (http://www.gamestudies.org One part of it is about the effect of point system

I confess that the current league system favors player who tries for kills vs point victory, so the best player is always award to the player dare to take risk where wingman helping to blow the engine is not awarded.

But for all the exisiting mode that we have YPI right now, we can said that League system is a temp. solution to solve the following issue.

1. pigeon scenario (N-17 on 17x12 map?!?!)

2. favor plane (pilot always tend to fly better plane)

3. undesirable play behaviour (point win, too conservative)

4. Auto mover

It is not a good system for ranking in the sense that the measuremenet matrix is limit to taking risk [courage], but for an ACE, the following attribute.

[team work]

[smart]

[persistence]

[endurance]

[calvary act]

all the mentioning virture is not measured in the current system. That's is the point that many user is arguing about. Let's wait wait. Being patient, something 'good' might happened. It won't be too long.

Enjoy discssion fun

i.
