| | Message text So I'm 8 games in to a Clash of the Titans league and it seems like there are a lot of planes that have lost their front gun (mainly mire). I decided to check through all 32 games and I noticed that 19 planes had their front gun destroyed! Yikes, must just be a statistical anomaly right? Wrong!
I looked back at another Clash of the Titans league (1760) I was in… 20 planes lost front guns. Then I looked at two other ended CLASH leagues: 2191 had 20 planes lose front guns also, league 2709 got out with only 13 planes without front guns.
So in 128 games that gives us 72 planes out of 512 pulled a gun destroyed (and that # could go up as one league still has 24 games left to finish). That's only front gun destroyed, this isn't looking at observer killed stats.
I then looked at four player games with single seat planes. Game 2011, N28s vs. DIIIa 2011 had 0 gun destroyed pulled. Game 2184, Top Cover, had 6 gun destroyed pulled. 2465, Stachel’s First, had 11.Finally, 1615 Bloody Summer had 0 gun destroyed.
In 128 games there were 17 gun destroyed chits pulled for 512 planes.
Results based on 256 games: In a two-seater there is a 14% chance of pulling a gun destroyed, in a one-seater there is a 3% chance of pulling a gun destroyed.
