Message text This is just a note to anyone who was apologizing for any of the below. At times they(he) made attempts at being normal users. A few defended JohnHawker from the beginning. JH did progress to being a "responsible" player on the site. That would have been fine. I am sure that it was what imdog and others of us would hope for. The sad truth seems to be that it was just a cover. He continued to stir the pot with aliases while simultaneously pretending to be responsible.
I think that some of the anti JH commentary was too heated, a little beyond what we should try to contain our commentary to. However, it appears that those folks seem to have hit closest to the mark.
The point I would hope to make is that in 2009, when the next guy like this shows up, (or next week when JH starts using a buddies computer once a week), people don't jump out of the wood work to defend the hateful behavior, or excuse multi account abusers as being different people.
We have a great community, some a little more hot headed than other(big deal, just like real life), and the community just improved a notch  I hope that the few players who distanced themselves from the rest of us, mostly over the recent flame will return. Good gaming all!!!
