The core activities of the Aerospace Psychology Research Group involve participation in research projects funded by the EU. The main work of the group concerns carrying out research into the human and organisational factors which underlie safety, reliability and change in complex safety-critical industries like aviation and the process industries. The Research Group is made up of a team of researchers and a project management support group. UML-XML Specialist/Workflow Modeller
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: • Translation of current workflow information into UML/XML. • Development of a Graphical User Interface to enable the transformation of workflow information into UML/XML. • Interfacing workflow modelling information with existing databases.
Essential skills: • Proficiency in HCI design • Familiarity with UML process flow language • Technical skills in Java • Technical skills in graphical User Interface Libraries • Familiarity with XML and database interfacing • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Project Management experience desirable (but not essential). • Willingness to travel.
Temporary Position for up to 12 months. Salary in the range of €30000-35000 per year.
