I would not want to see the leagues per day limit below 2, as I tend to finish off the 2 or 3 leagues I am in at a time, and then join/create 1 or 2 more.

If I need to be inconvenience to help combat this problem, so be it.

AND (hopefully not to difficult to program) Once a plane has been automoved, the server should automove that plane as soon as a turn completes and a new one begins. This would (for most players?) eliminate most of the automoving frustration. This also corrects most of the problem, delay of game, without limiting players use of the site.

I am currently in 22 active leagues and signed up for another and have no problem kepping up. i would rather see the option on completed games rather than setting a limit to the number of leagues you can join.

As to your suggestion of automoving as soon as a turn ends, that would be a problem in 1 on 1 games or games with only a few planes remaining. In a 1 on 1 game the automover could be making a move every 10 seconds. Thats fine if its a newby not ever coming back but what about a vet who is having to be away for a legitimate reason. This might prevent him from having a chance to resolve his issues and return to finish off his games.


I agree that you are asking the critical question. Should a 5 day automove happen just once every 5 days to protect the player that this happens to very seldom, or once you have violated the automove time limit there is no concern about your issue in not playing on time.

If we had the automove rule I suggest, you could set the automove time limit to two weeks to help protect against its activation, and knowing that if it is activated the game could be finished quickly from that point on.



In a different thread I had suggested that after the first automove all consecutive automoves should occur daily. I think that would function the same way your suggestion would in a large game without over penalizing someone in a small game who, due to an emergency, had to be away from the game for a short time.

I have to agree. I made the same suggestion in a previous thread too I just had this idea of NO delay, and went with it.
