I totally agree with you. Administration of the site is really disappointing. There are mainly two issues:
1. Lack of time to dedicate to the site 2. Lack of motivation to read all the thread in the forum. Also the way the forum is structured, with long threads hiding the next ones, helps missing discussions.

We would follow all discussions, in theory, we don't in reality.

Contributions are welcome, but criticism and ideas are the real fuel of this site. This thread gives me strong motivation to continue to work of the site and to try to better follow the forum.
I've added a new tag in the forum combo box: [IDEAS]. This will help us to read these threads and respond promptly to suggestions and criticisms.
Regarding your ideas:
1. Squadron Tag is a nice idea, but it is not that easy to fully support it. We can add the tag only where the 'donation' tag is shown. The system we use is not able to directly handle upload and resizing of images, so we need to handle by hand. We'll think a way to do that.
2. Tournaments automove timeout. Automoves now can handle different timeout, but cannot make more than 1 move a day for each automoved player. One idea was to reduce this timeout to a few hours, or even less. But this will force us to rethink about automove process... A very hard and time consumig task
3. Planes graphic. Please send me your plane at my email addess: nicolepe(at)youplay(dot)it. I'll try to handle them, giving you feddback about any problem I'll meet.
I really would like to thanks you for this post!
Have fun, Nick. |
