I see in one case, a squadron leader has remade two games to accomodate a squadron that didn't sign up in time for the week two games. The intentions of the leader are of course honorable, but this raises a few issues so far as the smooth and fair running of the league are concerned. I'm sure other squadrons not signed up in time for league games, might also wish to be afforded this same second chance.
And on this issue, we have had far too many forfeits from Squadrons in general in the first two weeks of the league. There were 8 the first week, and as of the last hour to sign up, there were 9 also in this danger. People certainly have real life pressing issues which is why, 8 to 10 members is ideal.
However smaller squadrons that SIGNED on to play the league, need to participate. Its also not very fair to Andrew, the coordinator to put in the time to make 17 games in the last two weeks that went unsigned up for.
For a week to week league to take place, having to remake a game, and allow the other side to again sign up, only slows the progress of the league. I think the forfeits are justified but we need to all be on the same page here.
The only reason games should be remade, is if someone has signed in for the wrong side. Lastly, if your squadron signed up to play then you need to do this. No one wants cheap forfeit wins, and the large number thus far, is detracting from the overall enjoyment of the league.
