I posted the rules on the Cup and made a point of telling all to read them. They were adapted from the same victory provisions set forth by Lord Loquaix in Squad Cup 1. I had seen that Galinette had exited earlier honorably, and wondered then if your team was aware of the victory conditions. It would have been inappropriate for me to remind players mid game of the rules and as such, I did not do this.
Though you guys had the game won on kills and points, allowing one of the enemy to remain on the map, means they win by the first victory condition: the team with the most planes on the map at the end of the game is the winner. If you had just glided and not exited, you would have won the game when it timed out or even if one of you had been shot down.
