Okay I need to ask this question of the Tomdog squadron. I do not even see ZARBY OR MORDRIG, two pilots flying on Tomdog (2) as registered on the Tomdog squadron, which you know is sort of an important requirement to playing in a squadron tournament. Please get back to me as soon as possible about this.
Frankly, I didn't think I needed to check each and every roster seeing I pointedly asked that we use the honor system regarding changing wings mid tournament and such.
I am inclined to disqualify Tomdog (2) but of course they (or the mercenaries aboard) won a slim game versus my very own Flying Tigers (2) wing. Had this been another team, I would think the right call would be to disqualify them and advance the other. It was Tomdog's responsibility to make sure all pilots were registered to their respective squadrons. When a high school team uses an illegal player, the game is forfeited.
I really don't wish to do this but I'd like a reasonable explanation of this situation as soon as possible.
Subsequently, one of the three things will occur.
1) Flying Tigers (2) advances because of the illegal players and plays Jasta 11. Its not their fault that 2 players on Tomdog (2) are not even registered.
2) I have some proof furnished to me that shows that the two players should have been on the roster and somehow the very reliable Andrew Lord Loquaix simply didn't get around to this (very unlikley).
3) To avoid the appearance of favoritism, I will not advance the Tigers and instead award the second round game to Jasta 11. They will then play the hissing cats for the Bracket C final.
I'm really sorry to have this happen, but in truth, I was looking at the squad site to get email addresses for the next game when I stumbled upon this.
Lord Loquaix (Andrew) and Just4fun (craig), I'd like to discuss this with you when possible.
Proof of previous squadron experience in campaign, league, or previous squad cup 1, will suffice. Lets say you guys were to win the whole thing, other squadrons would rightfully point out that 2 of the 3 pilots in round one, were not even registerd pilots. I'm glad I found this relatively still early in the tournament. |
