Maybe they get lost in the mare magnum of the available scenarios. Between # of players, period and planes there must be hundreds of them.
Novice player takes a peek and gets discouraged. Remember that many newbies never ever played tabletop.
Possible solutions are: 1) put a "novice" flag on scenarios, to ease up pick (not so easy, I guess);
2) put a serie of "sticky" post in forum, or on pages by themselves, to get the basis of scenario picking (and of game itself);
3) better still, a well-highlighted section in menu: "start here" that gives a condensed follow-me path through scenario-picking (et al.). |
