No, if two pilots of the same side score about the same points, the best pilot award in not given. I saw that to get the best pilot award you must score about 10 points or 10% of point more that the second scoring pilot of your side.

I think this should be written in the League rules / information section
but does it make sense that exists a "best" pilot for the killed pilots, and not for the winning pilots ?
