best suggestion is set up some games yourself and mark it for new players only in the description bit.
other than that try to link up with some of the other players (lots accept emails) and ask for a few tutorials. but the best method of learning is just to play, and accept the fact that you will be shot down lots, but hopefully each game will teach you something!

Thank you Bramley. I just don't want to hold up the game while I try and learn the intricacies of it. I know sometimes people prefer experience players which is NP.
