Assuming you were making code to break a tailing loop...
If you have a tailing loop who ought to be forced move first (and thus temporarily loses the ability to tail) to make the best game?
I think the optional ways to decide that include choosing: a) a random plane in the tailing loop b) the plane with the most/least/no fuel c) the plane with the highest/lowest score d) the plane with the most/least engine damage e) the plane with a rudder jam f) the plane nearest their edge of the board g) the plane with the most people tailing them h) the plane that shot/was shot most recently i) the plane tailing an ally
I can see that you could pick any of those as options depending on whether you wanted to favour the plane that is doing well (who has already earned an advantage and perhaps shouldn't be penalised) - or the plane that needs the most help
