So, the Allies have two "left on the board" - one on the board and one left with honour. The third allied plane was shot down.
The Germans have one "left on the board" - only the plane that left with honour.
Thus, with two planes to one plane - the Allies win.
But the one German lost half his points, so he loses those points AND doesn't count as being left on the board? That seems like a double jeopardy. Anyway, Thanks for the explanation - so if I'd shot down a second Allied aircraft, we would have had a draw? Or, because of points, the Germans would have had something better? Is The hierarchy first, number 'left on the board' and then points? |
