Kid had mentioned that as well. The Warplane program is a 4 part series - the first was WWI followed by WW2, and I expect spreading the post WW2 period into 2 separate programs. I'm sure the third will be Vietnam/Korea through the early 70s, and the last will center on conflicts more current.
The interrupter gear designed by Fokker was given a good amount of coverage. The second part starts with a good discussion of how good the DVII was. It really is one of the finer programs of this type I have ever watched. The discussion of how efficient the Wright brothers were with their prop design was excellently done.
