I'd agree with Zarby, if one has been able to obtain a good fire solution, albeit without being able to fire ones guns, it'll make things somewhat easier the following turn when one actually gets them peashooters spraying.
(Calculating any lead, moving into a comfy position on tail of E.A. and soforth)
