Message text A lot of people have said they'd like another squadron tournament ASAP.....
I'm planning a campaign system, which might be ready for January. I don't want to do another league just yet, but am willing to start a "Squadron Cup".
The Squadron Cup would be a knockout competition of up to 4 rounds. If you lose, you're out. Simple.....quick.....tense 
The start date will be 1st November 2006
Squadron leaders will need to post a reply to this topic if they wish to enter. I won't be chasing any squadrons up (partly because I keep bombarding people with e-mails too much!).
Games will be 3 v 3, with a 3 day automove limit. As there will only be one game for each match, it will be the boring, but equal, "All things equal (abridged version)".
I'll be looking for either 8 or 16 teams, so if anyone who isn't already in a squadron wants to form a "temporary" squadron for the tournament there will probably be room for you - just express an interest here. It could be the perfect opportunity for people to try out "squadron-gaming" (if you can call it that) before forming their own squadron
