Is that the right game number? Mar fired on turn 18, there's nothing to fire at on 19 and it's not your game, so I thought it might be a typo.

The reason Marseilles did not fire is because her target had moved out of range. On the previous turn you will notice she fired BOTH her broadsides, since a ship can only load 1 side per turn, the port side got loaded but the target over there moved to range 11. IF you had ordered the starboard side to load, then Marseilles would have fired at the target on THAT side of her. Occasionally the "load anyside" command WILL load the side you need, but more often than not (50%) the computer will load the useless broadside for you... Sometimes attention to detail can be critical
