Message text Hi-
I had played the older version, which was very nice, good graphics, scary sounds, but (as someone did point out) with a small replay value. BTW, I had a big record there I am looking forward to see the new version.
Trouble is... don't hate me for telling you this... much doesn't work under Linux. I'm using Firefox+Kubuntu (a Debian-based distribution). Maybe tonight I might try it using win2k.
1) In particular, in the very first menu, I cannot read the options on the buttons under "main menu". I can proceed because I remember what the options were, but in ALL the red buttons I cannot see what's written there.
2) The window does not fit to the screen and I cannot scroll up/down when the King appears after choosing players number/difficulty, so I have trouble clicking on the red button near the bottom of the page. Same with princess, queen, wizard...
3) In the game screen, I cannot see how many soldiers/gold/blah blah blah I have. In the shops, the options are not really visible. I cannot see how much gold I have left. I cannot see what it is that I'm buying.
Maybe some of this bugs are there when using LOSEdows too... the scrolling thing in particular? I'll tell you later!
I'm saying "don't hate me" because a Flash programmer/friend of mine always goes like "what the @%$£! I don't give a damn about linux!!!" I really do hope you can use the linux-friendly functions
Oh, by the way... you might want to have a look at my site... it's youplay-inspired, so it's mostly javascript!
