Message text Hey Honorable Webmasters:
In light of the recent upgrades to the Blue Max software, I was wondering if the damage chit selection routine was altered. From what I understand, in the old routine, in essence, a damage chit would be selected, recorded, and then returned to the pool and could be, and frequently was, selected again for the next damage chit incurred by that plane in that same burst. In other words, the same plane could receive the "pilot killed" chit twice, or more, in one burst from a single opponent, which was not the case in the board game unless the extra pilot killed chit was used.
However, in the board game, the damage chit selection routine was to first draw a "Blue Chit(s)," if any, then a person would draw "Red Chit(s)," if any, without returning any of the chits to the pool until the entire selection process is finished.
So, I guess my question is, is the damage selection process the same as before or is it the process as in the board game?
Thanks for your time.
