Message text Just an offer:
I run several game sites from my servers located in my basement.
All on battery backup (about 45 mins worth). All on VMs. All with auto failover to another VM host. (actually two physical host servers with multiple VMs. Set to mutually failover in case of issues) I run Windows Severs and Centos (Linux) servers.
My link is high speed fiber with static IP addresses.
No, it's not like my AT&T datacenter when I keep my companies servers that could survive a nuclear strike, but, since I've been in this business for close to 30 years now, I think it's pretty robust.
Offer is: Should you ever need low/zero cost hosting for this game, let me know.
I don't like seeing good sites go down. I've already rescued two games (http://vinci.aleknights.com )and a old UO shard ( http://www.oblivion2.com ) from being 'derezzed'.
I tried finding the owner of RoboRunner once that site fell off the net a couple of years ago. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. That was a fun one that I miss.
