In normal games, surely does, even not in my side. In tournament, depends on the rules.
I agree with gugliandalf of his points. For myself, being an ACE is to know
a. when to use Speed 3/4, Long Burst, Stall, stay
b. Even Engine is broken, stay long enough to help teammate.
b. and most important when to 'leave' to keep u for the next mission.
Just my 0.001 RMB cents
P.S. In basic/normal/advance rules, there is no single rule said you must stay in the board until fuel empty for sportmanship, don't we?
