Good information - thanks - I had read of another way around the Xp problem. So you installed it an the patch you named above and no problems with XP? I live in Nashville - apparently Kess, Mitchell Kent, is the programmer responsible for FCJ and he lives somewhere out here. I didn't hear you say anything about multiplayer on FCJ - possible or not? I've played various flight simulators - they can be more frustrating than always fun. I sort of enjoy a happy medium in between. I need to try Il2 online - Grief maybe we can arrange for a day for you to meet me up there.
It works just fine my my computer with XP. I do have a graphic card, which helps the play with FCJ, though it's not absolutely nessesary. I was playing RedBaron3d on the Italian front with a patch from another organization. Got to fight Italians and Austrians. Pretty cool. Bloody Italian 2 engine bombers (Caproni) can suck up a huge amount of bullets.
As for multiplayer, I've not tried it. I did fly a bit under the old RedBaron, but to be honest, it was to flaky for my tastes. The screens would jump, and it always seemed I was flamed by someone, before I knew they were there. I'm pretty sure there is a FCJ patch for multiplayer, but haven't tried it.
