http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=158161&UserID=darken A well played game by both parties. I took a risk on move three, before we had begun the dance, and paid for it. The rest of the game was textbook. Capt_Tuttle made the most of what I thought was a good exit strategy on my part. He popped me twice at range two for four points. Final score was 31 - 23 capt_tuttle.
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=158162&UserID=darken Our 'hook-up' resulted in head on shot from at range one. I, in the Tripe, went ahead +2. The dance was typical; without stall exchanges.
On move 21 capt moved up to speed three and I thought he was making his exit pattern. I took the high percentage angle and missed him on 22. He then made a tight cutback with a 16r3. I anticipated the move and moved 10R1 in his flight path earning a 1hex shot w/o deflection on his tail. (If he would have moved 9R2 I would have probably killed him.) I took the high percentage angle on 24 tapping him again. He eliminated the tailing bonus on that move.
On move 26 we shared the same hex and I had earned restricted moves for the turn. The logical and high percentage move for me was 31R2 but it would give him a shot on me if he was no longer trying for escape but was instead intent on killing me. I bet on the latter and moved 28R2 ending his malicious intent.
=========================== Capt_tuttle played a flawless game until move 21 of the second match. I had the good fortune of being able to capitalize on it.
darken advances on a kill in the tripe.
