Hi. Check out the yahoo group bmwwi and chat with imdog. He ran a WWI campaign with help from some others, myself included. Same sort of idea. Problems are that the time scale "months to run" is more then only a few diehards are will to hang around for. The other side of that is players tend to have to wait months till the next stage and lose interest. Lastly a lot of your time will be spent trying to manage it. Those are the bad things. However, that said I think your ideas and some insight from someone who has managed it before "imdog" and a commitment by you could get something like this going, and I for one would be in. My biggest suggestion is to stay away from the 5 on 5's and limit to scenario to 3 on 3 2-3 ect. Lots of well meaning players sign up for this but then for whatever reasons the 5 on 5's take forever to run. I tracked several games for our bmwwi and never did a 5 on 5 have more then a move every two days, and this was with everyday players too!!!! Imdog likes to chat in games and I like the “Who wants to live forever” 2 on 1 games so if you want, make a challenge game for imdog and capt-tuttle, I’ll be happy to take the single plane, but make it the snipe so I can last longer and chat a bit CT
