| | Message text I am considering setting up a tournament and would like some information from those of you who have organized one. Basically I need to know what my responsibilities would be other than setting up the games, recording and reporting the results.
My idea is that we set up two aerodromes with a set number of pilots and replacements. Once a pilot is shot down they are out and a replacement is brought in. A pilot's career is kept and citations would be given for bravery etc.
Your pilot would only be able to fly in one game at a time but your aerodrome could have several scenarios being played at the same time. As the numbers of pilots change the scenarios available would change. Each aerodrome commander would determine what to fly from a list of approved scenarios.
The planes available would be determined by the number of scenarios played. (5-early war, 5-mid war, 5-late war)
This would reward good pilots who stay alive and maybe make a few legends. Cowards would be forced to fly the worst planes etc.
This is just an idea and any helpful critique is welcome. |
