That's my point, though. There is no need to get rid of "unbalanced" scenarios. Let people play them if they so desire.
Why? So called "experienced" pilots are setting up these unbalanced scenarios and taking only the good planes. A few rookies join in not realizing how unbalanced the game is, get their a** handed to them and think - this is a stupid site, I'm never coming back.
That is why the unbalanced scenarios are bad. Because a lot of people think all the scenarios are fair. Don't think this happens? Check out the stats for some of the scenarios. There are pilots that have ONLY flown the "good" planes. Only flown the side with the advantage. So we see a pilot that has flown the good plane 100 times. But nobody has been masochistic enough to fly the crappy planes that many times. Luckily for these "bold" pilots, there is another sucker who will come along and help fuel their fantasy.
Of course, there are exceptions, Bramely Bomber in the camel scenarios. Sure, he has racked up a lot of kills flying the german aircraft - but he has flown the camel just as many times - and racked up some pretty good stats their too.
