When someone fires at you at short distance, you should always risk something, and not rely on your high it points to be sure you can survive a couple of Red chits. You do not want to be downed? Simply do not let the others shoot you...
I agree Ashtar, part of Blue Max is the agony of the bad chit. Luck was part of life, and while you could do things to improve your luck, when bullets are flying, anything could happen. It's always fun to look at those who like to fly the Bristol, but only in a standard game. It always seems so fair, especially when they are flying against one opponent. Let's see, I'm flying a tank, with two guns, firing both to the front, and out the rear, I am as manuverable as most of the slower dancers, I'm stability A. However, I don't like having the chance that you might pull a bad chit and be killed, that's not sporting, so we will make it a Standard game. For your benefit.. Yep, that's fair....  |
