This is a great topic, and good to see here. There should be more of these on the forum, thought they take a lot of time to do.
Also, its understanding like this that makes a great team pilot, which is probably why I'm not!
So, my thoughts...
Rumpler is speed three, so any stall means he will overshoot you. 1R1 means he could 8R2 or 9R2. If he does 9R2 he gives his tail to you next turn.
The down side with a 1R1 is the other pair. Dibbs could also stall, giving a shot to Rumpler on the 9R2, but would get a shot Rumpler does 8R2.
Or, he'd get a range 0 shot at Lawtygrr if he does the threatened 27S2. If I were Lg tho, I would 11R1 or 11L1, to avoid that risk, get Dibbs tail and save the fuel. If Lg does the 11L1, he'll get a shot at a stalled Imdog tho. Personally, at range 2, with a shot back, I'd risk it.
Sorry for the blather, which I've now run out of steam on, but I think my answer is 1R1, and if I were Dibbs I'd 31L2.
Would be interested in loads of other opinions and to know what happens
