The person who "retires" does not receive the 1-point per move bonus, while all players still on the board do. Thus, someone who retires with the score level, will lose. 100% certain. If a person retires with a 1-point lead, and thus sacrifices the move bonus for the turn they exit, then the score ends level. When the score ends level, the game engine picks a random winner. Picking a random winner ought to even out over some range of games, so there is no need to modify the code. (At least in that aspect.
You are incorrect Ksnake in reference to our game. You retired with the score tied - I am on the board still, so by your account, I should have recieved a point where you would not and hence forth, I would have won the game. |
