Of course luck is a factor in the game, but sometimes more so than others. Neko just thought your experience of surviving two 0-range shots to be worth noting and I'd have to agree that it is pretty rare! As Neko said, imdog does keep track of such unusual "feats" and publishes them occasionally. They can be entertaining to read about. I myself got special mention once upon a time for being the victim of the record number of tail hits (27, I believe!). Not how I'd like to be remembered, perhaps, but sh*t happens!! 
Anyway, I for one can attest that you are a skilled and worthy player, Templars, and I'm sure others would agree too. For what its worth, I'd rather have you on my side than against me. 
Please don't feel that you are being unduly picked upon. Nobody is saying you are a bad player, only that sometimes it really IS better to be lucky than good!
