Overall agree. I remember of a weird situation when I turned a gliding move to my own advantage. I was flying a Spad XIII at speed 3 and a SSIV was chasing my tail at distance 2, then suddenly he wiped off my last engine point. When he read STRAIGHT, he couldn't imagine what a nasty trap was poised to him...
I don't think there was so much chivalry into the resulting explosion, but this was a last stand move and indeed it showed to be very effective.

Well, this is a tactic that is sometimes useful... I mean, when you are about to run out of fuel far from your border (I know, it should NEVER happen...), you can plan to make a speed 3 move as your last "normal" move so to try to trick your opponents into moving over you... It's not very "chivalric", but belongs to the pool of dirty tricks, along with faking to be gliding!!!
