How come a Tripe is considered as good as a Pfaltz DIIIa???
and a fokker Dr.I as good as an Albatros???
Thanx to all who replied and proposed variant methods, I ain't no time to dig deeper in to it, if you wish send me an e-mail and I'll send you the XLS if you wish to investigate.
Just a word about planes rank: I didn't mean to figure how good is a plane, but how hard is to shoot it down, so EWFT take 40% of value just by themselves, and Fuel another 10%. I stated a base value for stability of C=1, B=2 and A=4 (thus the tripe), and number of guns takes another 10%. The remaining 30% is due to number of 120° moves (including restricted), number of 180° moves and speed in hexes (2 or 3, SPAD XIII is considered 3). But all in all 50% is due only to number of boxes in plane card!
I think there is NO "better plane", anybody has HIS "better plane" (Fender or Gibson? ). There are people deep in love with the tripe, I'm more on the "runner" side, and my real fave is S.E.5a. De gustibus non disputandum esse. |
