Message text Over the summer & autumn, BBC2 in the UK showed coverage of the Red Bull Air Race Series (Formula 1 racing in the sky). I discovered it by accident as a way of entertaining my 2 year old who is obsessed with aeroplanes.
If you get a chance to see it when the new season starts next summer it is amazing to see.
They fly extremely low at great speed round a set course and tip the wings vertical through the gates at only about 50 feet from the ground...
