| Message text The problem with these kinds of stats is that it doesn't tell you much to separate the real from the silly.
How many of the kills are pidgeons shot down by super planes?
How many are self-directed clone targets?
While the "total kill" list has a lot of longevity going for it, a lot of the stats on this site have been made bogus by players who were trying to fluff their feathers with fake accomplishments.
I won't name names--you "spineless" wonders know who you are.
But on some level, I wonder if this would actually be a "better" game without stats. I know the super-plane vs pidgeon people would still do the same thing-- they say "that is what I like to do" and that is supposed to make it okay. (Child molesters could make the same defense.) But at least the lack of stats would cut down on some of the incentives for unsavory play.
Where is the stat rating for "character" or 'difficult of schedule" (to use a sports term.) We spoke of something like the latter before-- instead of every kill, be it N17 or Brisfit, being worth the same points, maybe some sort of modifiers could be plugged in-- I could see that working its way to the POINTS SCORED even... so a SS D4 would not score points shooting at a N17 in the same sort of system as it would be the other way around.
Hmmm. |
