| Message text Well, one vote against.
I think the less info the better. While the dead observer was one of the few things the original game said to reveal
"Except for smoke, fire, observer killed, and results which cause the destruction of the plane, all damage results are secret and should not be revealed to other players."
I wouldn't mind if that was not generally known-- in fact, the ideal would be that only players "tailing" the target can spot that the observer is down. I know that's asking too much (neat idea though, isn't it?)
This request for "show to everyone all visible special damages," which might be thought to include things like "fabric tears" and whether such things block high speed or restricted maneuvers.
My opinion is that this is way too much information and makes getting those damages-- already a huge pain-- into something a lot worse. If my opposition all knows I can't do a restricted move or go fast--as soon as the damage happens-- I think I'd be a lot more prone to head for the exit side of the board. A damaged plane would certainly be a lot easier to finish off, and I don't think that would be good for the game overall.
