I'm posting of another fellow pilot, koala. He cannot also enter the site. The message below is from him:
I've been unable to enter the site for a few days. This only happens from my home internet connection, I can view the site normally from other internet connections. I have observed the following:
1) My ISP's DNS servers hang up when trying to resolve the site name
2) If I switch to public DNS servers, I can resolve the name from my usual connection
3) Once I can resolve the name, I still cannot access the site
4) But if I access the site via it's IP address, I get a message, not the actual site (I suppose the site uses vhosting)
If I send manually HTTP requests, the connection seems to lock whenever I supply a Host: header
If you want to pursue this further, please contact me via email at koalillo-at-fastmail-fm. If you could set up a different name to point to the site, I believe we could "patch" temporarily the problem
The host name need not be a real internet address. If you can setup your web server to vhost the site "youplayittemp", I believe I could access the site by putting that on my hosts file.
