Bramley Bomber's comments on the Camel vs scenario are spot on... And he has the chivalry to prove it.
Sure, these scenarios can be a bit of a pigeon shoot. But take a look at the stats for these scenarios. BB has played most of them a lot. Even the Camel vs DVII. And he has racked up an impressive kill ratio in the Camel.
Yes, I said in the Camel.
I'll say it again in case you missed it. Flying the Camel !!!!
Camel Rules!!!
In my 2 cents, Camel is the best Allies fighter in the early war follows SE5a (forgot about Bristol, it is a two seater- another planet). 2 guns, Right side bias, can dance like triplane. But for sure you must take care not to let others flying on your left hand
That's what sportsmanship is all about. Set up an unbalanced scenario. Take both sides. And challenge yourself to beat the odds in the weaker plane.
It's not the stats that are important (though he has racked up impressive +/- ratios in all the camel scenarios). It's all about challenging yourself.
You don't get better flying a Snipe all the time. You get better by challenging yourself.
If I start a new game (whenever happened) I will start it in the opp side too.
