| Message text With apologies to Neko, while time is needed to get all the dopples off a board, whether they are headed FOR the edge of the board or continuing to engage in fighting is pretty obvious after 2 or (at most) 3 turns.
If DB's point is accurate-- that the doubles are JOINING new games-- then it would mean the "apology" was a total lie.
No, I don't think we should let go of this situation until we have a group understanding, and some buy-in from the site masters on whether or not they think it better to just ignore it for the sake of being "peaceful."
Someone else suggested spinabros give up the name and start over, to earn respect the old-fashioned and honorable way. I've said all along that I doubted his ego would let him do that, and as for the question,"what good are statistics if you cheated to get the score?", well THAT question was already answered whe spinabros did what he did--and then bragged about it. Cheated stats still give him the attention and "honor" that he wants, even if it is an illusion in his own mind.
So if the dopples are joining games like mad, it might explain why so few non-passworded games have been opened.
And that means we won't be able to meet and enjoy new honorable players.
Which would make the site much less of a good thing.
We have not heard a word from spinabros since his "apology," but if the doubles are joining lots of games, it speaks VOLUMES.
Too bad. |
