So he was playing it both ways-- using the extra intelligence (multiple tailing abilities) to line up his "record" plane, using the clones to shoot up the other folks on his side, and then having them fly politely so that they could be taken down...but not quickly. There is the real "art" to this-- keeping the shots consistent (7 times in a row!) but not too deadly... he wanted to milk the scores before the 25pt kills.

I've said all along the records need to be wiped away. Those who says "stats are not important" should take a look at this game and see what stats-greed can lead to.
