Tactis NO
Banter YES
In this game, I think it was more like banter. For example, if trapped in a corner against 3 enemy planes, while my two wingmen are galavanting over on the other side of the board, typing "uh, a little help over here" is not tactics - but banter - it should be obvious to all, that I need help.
As well, if there is a newbie in the game, and he is doing obviously wrong moves, comments _after_ his move can be acceptable ("slow down" to a german Dr1 who is continually doing speed 3 moves on a 17x12 board, "stalling is bad", etc)
Sure, some of these may appear as "tactics", and I guess we should be careful, but friendly "banter" should be OK. |
